Covid-19 Relief hand sanitizers

Given that obtaining most goods is a challenge in our rural area and that there is a critical shortage of running water, Thanda Foundation Trust purchased high-grade surface and hand sanitizers for distribution to rural entrepreneurs, municipalities, schools and police stations.

The rural entrepreneurs are selling the sanitizers within the rural communities, providing both a desperately needed product and encouraging economic empowerment.

To date, our sanitizers have been donated to the Big Five Hlabisa Municipality, Macabuzela Clinic, Ishatshi Police Station as well as Bombolo Primary School.

Bombolo Primary School were unable to re-open on the first day of school due to a water crisis where no water was available at the school. Water shortages are an extremely serious problem in our communities. Mrs Ndlovu, the school Principle was extremely grateful for the donation of the 50 surface and hand sanitizers.
